FREDERICTON – The deadline is fast approaching to nominate an outstanding alumnus for the New Brunswick Community College (mini´«Ã½) Alumni Recognition Awards. The awards recognize and celebrate the contributions that mini´«Ã½ graduates make in New Brunswick communities and beyond. Nominations close March 24, 2016.

At 80,000 and growing, mini´«Ã½ alumni are making an impact both economically and socially through professional excellence and leadership, entrepreneurship and volunteerism. The awards mark alumni achievements through the following award categories:

• Community Leadership: Aligned with mini´«Ã½’s Robertson Institute for Community Leadership, this award recognizes an alumna or alumnus who has made significant contributions to New Brunswick communities.
• Entrepreneurship: This award recognizes an alumna or alumnus who has built a successful business.
• Outstanding Young Alumni: This award recognizes an alumna or alumnus under the age of 35 who has demonstrated success in their chosen field.
• mini´«Ã½ Signature Award - Friend of New Brunswick: This award recognizes an alumna or alumnus who has made significant contributions to the culture, reputation, or economic prosperity of the Province of New Brunswick.
